1st Laçin Akyol Violin Competition

February 3–6, 2027

An international violin competition for students up to 18 years of age, held in memory of Laçin — whose voice fell silent at 18, yet whose music continues to resonate in the hearts of young musicians.

  • The entire organization of the competition is currently in the process of becoming. The competition will be hosted by the Olten Art Foundation. The competition will be open to international participants and will include a final round which is to be performed with orchestra (Olten Philharmonic Orchestra).
